Beyond the moisturising qualities that are found in all our soaps, Sage oil has extensive therapeutic properties that can be used by those dealing with cracked or chapped lips or skin a common problem during the long, cold winter months. It is recommended for massaging into skin irritated by insect and mosquito stings, reducing the stinging and the itchiness that accompany attacks by the little blighters!
Try massaging into minor open wounds to help speed up the healing process too. It is also recommended after waxing to reduce red spotting and is suitable for both men and women to use after shaving, especially if you have sensitive skin.
Burcu's note: Sage feels earthy, clean, and practical. It is not trying to be fancy, and that is exactly why I like it.
