Initially, having no business name and just limited number of soaps for sale on a craft market stall in the beautiful summer tourist destination of Oludeniz, this family-run business was founded in 2006 when Ayse retired from teaching and the venture was joined and supported by her daughter, Burcu, a talented artist and it is Burcu who became the face of ‘Soap Lady’, appearing within the company motif on all our soap products”.

From Fethiye to the World: The Story of Soap Lady Ölüdeniz
Soap Lady Ölüdeniz, which began in the coastal town of Fethiye, was established as a small local business thanks to the power of its natural and handmade soaps. Its reputation, which spread rapidly among British tourists who were fans of its products and their benefits, laid the foundation for the company’s growth.
With increasing demand from its new international fan base, Soap Lady Ölüdeniz has become a well-known brand, selling its unique soaps to visitors from all over the world, including the UK, Europe, North America, Russia, the Far East, Africa, and Australia, throughout the summer.
Today, Soap Lady Ölüdeniz remains committed to its original mission: to offer high-quality Turkish handmade natural soaps that nourish and protect the skin while effectively treating a wide range of skin issues.
“All our soap products are handmade in Turkey, are free from parabens and Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) and are produced with no animal testing or fats. Our soap bars each weighing approximately 100g, contain olive oil in addition to the natural oil specific to each soap and with their unique and subtle fragrance their popularity has continued to grow. Our customers’ glowing reviews are testimony to the wonderful results achieved over the years”.
